Romeo et Juliette: Les Infants de Verone (2010)

Well, first thing first...
The good news is you don't have to worry because it's non-task related. The bad news is I still can't get 'Romeo et Juliette Musical' out of my head and I have to spill it somewhere. I'd like to thanks you who read this post and to apologize if I made you worry. And I don't care what you're thinking about this post, I just want to share my amazement toward 'Romeo et Juliette Musical'. That's all.

The story begins when I, out of curiosity, was listening to a fanmade video of 'Les Rois du Monde, Multilanguage Version'. The song kept repeating several times and I finally thought that it's a nice song. So I looked through the lyrics and found the translation from French version. The lyrics was amazing.

And the next thing I found is, I was already watching a video in youtube. The 'Les Rois du Monde' live on stage (2001 version). And then I got to know that it's from a musical. A French musical of 'Romeo And Juliet'. So far, there're 2 versions that I knew, 2001 version and 2010. The difference were, maybe, quality, actors, etc. In 2010 version (the revival) there's a lot of significant change from the actors. I guess all of the actors were replaced except for Damien Sargue who played as Romeo and Tom Ross who played as Tybalt.

I, myself, prefer the 2010 version. From the way the actors acted, their singing, the properties, etc. So far, I only managed to watch Act 1 from internet (with english subs), I still can't find Act 2. I'm dying, I want to see it so bad. I already got the soundtracks, but I want to see the musical, the feels, it's different. I want to see it so bad.

Well, move on, I'll tell you about the characters I knew so far (and my opinion about them).

1. Romeo (Damien Sargue)

Well, who doesn't know 'Romeo'? He's a handsome man around his twenty, coming from Montague family. Who's later will fall in love to Juliet (and yes, die). He has two friends (or brothers?) Mercutio and Benvolio.

(His singing was great. He also played as Romeo in 2001 version but as a Romeo with long hair. However, I prefer him to be like the one in 2010 version.)





2. Juliet (Joy Esther)

And here's Juliet. A beautiful girl on her sixteen, coming from Capulet Family. She'll later fall in love to Romeo (and again, yes, die).

(Her singing was great. I love her hairs. And she's married to Damien Sargue but later divorced, aww too bad //okaystop)







3. Tybalt (Tom Ross)

Tybalt, the antagonist, Juliet's cousin who's secretly in love with her. And again, someone who died. He got killed by Romeo in a duel.

(His singing was great. He's a pitiful character and somehow developed as one of my favorite characters.)






4. Mercutio (John Eyzen)

Mercutio, Romeo's sidekick, friend and brother. He later died in a duel with Tybalt.

(His singing was great. He's kind of has twisted mind, bizzare, unique, etc. One of my favorite characters.)








5. Benvolio (Cyril Niccolai)

Benvolio, Romeo's sidekick, friend and brother.

(His singing was great. And he's kind of the reasonable one, the calm one, in my eyes.)









There're also other characters, but I won't explain. They're:
Prince, Paris, Lady Capulet, Lady Montague, Nurse, Lord Capulet, Death, Poet, etc.

Moving on~ So far that I understood are...
The story begins with some kind of prologue, 'Overture', then the Prince came out and sang 'Verona' which tells about the city and the people living there, about the conlict between Capulet and Montague. Next, both of the Lady, Capulet and Montague sang 'La Haine'. Then in 'La Demande en Mariage', Juliet got a marriage proposal (was it?) from Paris, and it showed Tybalt feelings toward her as well. Then Tybalt sang a song about him. Julite didn't agreed on that marriage proposal but she had to. And moving on, she's singing 'Un Jour' along with Romeo who's on a different place.

After that, Mercutio and Benvolio came out and they sang 'Les Rois du Monde' along with Romeo. And then Mercutio sang 'Je Reve' which tells about his dreams, ambition and such. And then Romeo sang 'J'ai Peur' which tells about his fear toward something. Later, Mercution and Benvolio showed up and told him to go to Capulet's ball. There, Romeo met Juliet and they fell in love to each other and sang 'L'amour Heureux'.

Tybalt who realized Romeo's presence then sang 'C'est Pas Ma Faute' which tells about his being the son of hate and contempt, got betrayed and that it's not his fault.

Soon later Romeo and Juliet decided to get marry in 'Aimer'. Later, Mercutio and Benvolio who found out, accused him betraying the family and such in 'On Dit Dans la Rue'. Didn't accept the fact between Romeo and Juliet in 'C'est la Jour', Tybalt sang his feelings out.

That's all that I had watched and understood so far. But, so far, it's really great! It's amazing! I love it!
The songs... it stucks in my head for days now :'

TURBUD 32015!

So, I’ll tell you about my TURBUD with 32015 experiences. It’s my first time of having a study tour and moreover, out of town. I’m kinda worried and due to my (maybe?) loner or individualistic trait, I thought to myself that I’ll be fine just by staying near my groups so that I won’t get lost or something, but the good thing is, I still have some people accompanied me :’ So maybe I was being too pessimist.

The destination place was Bali and we traveled there by land. We were using train to travel from Bandung to Surabaya. And I wonder why on earth should we pay for that train? Wasn’t there a song like this,
“...ke Bandung, Surabaya~
Bolehlah naik dengan PERCUMA!”
PERCUMA it said. FREE! Then it should be a NON-FEE travel! /slapped
Nah, I was kidding :p

We gathered on the station around 5 or 6 pm and the train departure from Bandung was at 8 pm. I brought a red suitcase along with me and my old school bag that could fit lot of things in it. I was in the third wagon along with my class XI Science 4 or I prefer to address it as KEPARAT—the class’s name. I sat beside Afifah and with Lovanda and Triana on the seat in front of us. It wasn’t my first time traveling with a train but, the last time I did is around 5 years ago, but indeed it’s the first time I traveled without my parents.

I don’t know whether it’s the trip or my position or whatever, I could barely fell asleep. I wasn’t even sure whether I managed to really fall sleep or not with my earphones on—I don’t mind the songs though, I actually like it. So, I knew what’s going on around me and there’s just one time when I fully regained my consciousness I realized that everyone has already fell to a deep sleep. So, around 2 am I thought to myself that I can’t sleep (or trying to do it) anymore and checked my line messages. Some of my friends from my Japanese Club invited me to go travels from one wagon to another to take photos of the other members sleeping face. I agreed and for an hour or more I spends my time with Lathifah and Miclyra by walking around (we got questioned and warned several time by some of the train’s staffs, it was awkward and it scares me a bit).

But, it was worth it! We could use those photos for blackmail if we need it at times, umfufufu~ /kicked

And while in the train I couldn’t say that the food is satisfying, but the dinner was rather good (or was it because I was too hungry to even think about the taste?). But the breakfast, I really can’t stand it, it’s around 5 in the morning and the menu is... I just managed to gobbled down (maybe) even less than a half of it.

Finally we arrived on Surabaya around 9 am. We got into the bus and while on the way to Bromo Asri restaurant, all I could think about was just ‘toilet’ and ‘food’. I’m so dead hungry and I need a toilet quickly ._. Short after, the bus arrived and I was running to the bathroom to take care all of my needs before having a lunch, finally, something I can eat. 

Then we continued our ride to Ketapang’s Harbor—but before that, we stopped at Grafika Restaurant before dinner. It’s already dark when we get into the ship. And I spends my time on the ship with my fellow friends from Japanese Club and talked all crazy in a loud voice, it’s kind of embarassing but it’s also a lot of fun :) Finally, we arrived at Gilimanuk Harbor, Bali. And continued our trip to Nirmala Hotel. 

We arrived around 2 am and quickly get into room 303. I’m so dead tired, I feel like I could fell asleep in any minute, but I have to take a bath, no matter what. And then, along with my roomates, Lovanda, Nadira, and Ellania, we orderd Mc Donald delivery, finally, something my stomach could accept. There’re two beds in the room and I slept with Lovanda next  to me. 

On the first day in Bali, it’s real hot when I got into the bus, and what made it worse is that the air conditioner in my bus didn’t work. My class, KEPARAT got separated and moved to different buses and I, Nadira, and Ella ended up in Bus 7, it’s was embarassing to get on that bus for several reasons. But the short trip to Tanjung Benoa got rather enjoyable along with a nice accompany near me, and it turned out it wasn’t that embarassing and awkward.  

In Tanjung Benoa, I went to Penyu Island with my Japanese Club friends and spends the rest of time in the beach with them. And another bad luck striked to me, my sandal got broken and I have to buy a new pair. I ended up finding the only cheapest, nice sandal that costs Rp. 30.000,- it’s was so expensive for that kind of sandal! Oh, what the hell?! But I really need it so there’s no other choice, so, fine. And then, before we went to Puja Mandala, we were having a lunch on the beach and I already changed into my TURBUD shirt. I love that shirt, it’s nice and the blue colour is good.

Puja Mandala is a place where all of the house of worship of five religion were located in one place. I went to the mosque and took a prayer. Then, we went to GWK, it’s so hot there. There’s also a game from the commitee, we have to find either blue or yellow clues, six of them. I’m sure there’s no way winning it and just let the game went on, but in the end my class did win it. I was happy and surprised when it got announced. We also took some photos, as 32015 and me with KEPARAT and also with my Japanese Club along with our dear teacher who’s responsible for the Club, Mrs. Ima Riaty—who’s also my class guardian. 

It was getting dark when we get into the amphitheater to see Kecak Dance. Actually I don’t really understand what is that and just took some photos and enjoyed myself by seeing the shadows of the dancer, it’s kind of awesome—I know, I got focused on a wrong thing. 

After that, we went to Jimbaran Bay. The seafood was really nice, finally, real food. But shame on me I can’t really enjoyed it due to several things. And the (supposedly) dinner event turned out merrier than I had thought, it’s nice. And I managed to get a precious photo along way :3
 

After that we want back to hotel it’s really late, I took a bath and went to sleep.

The second day in Bali, I woke up with this damn... throat sore!!! Oh God why?! That’s the last thing I ever wanted in my trip! And what worried me more is the possibility of it turning into a cold. No, no, NO! But I have to enjoy my trip anyway, somehow. We went to Desa Adat Panglipuran, the village was so nice and the building lined up neatly, it’s nice to see. 

Then, we went to Kintamani Restaurant. KEPARAT took photos there. The food was really delicious! One I could enjoy despite of the throat sore! I ate a lot of food.

After that, we went to Sukowati. I didn’t buy anything. I just use that occasion to walked around since I’ve been sitting too much while in the bus. We went back to the Hotel and prepared for “MAKRAB” and while I’m at it, I also packed up my things. The theme was beach party so we should wear clothes which related to that. I wore a brown themed dress, the dress has kind of flower patterns so, I think it’ll be enought for a beachy outfit. I sat on the back of the ballroom along with my Japanese Club guys the whole night. The Award of Nomination was announced and we also watched our 32015 video. The event ended around midnight and there’s an after party, but this throat sore of mine that’s turning into a flu had gotten worse and I decide to go back to my room—it’s not like I’ll join the after party either way. 

And here comes the last day in Bali! We went to Pandawa Beach, and on the way there’s an accident happened, I don’t really want to talk about it, it’s shocking and I hope the person involved will stay safe and healthy—and again we were moved to another bus. Oh God why... Okay, back to the Pandawa Beach, it was really hot... There’s ‘Dewa Athena: Beach Edition’ the guys from KEPARAT played in tug of war and came out as the winner! Yay! I also took some photos. After that, we went to Krisna to eat lunch and buy some souvenirs. We didn’t managed to go to Kuta Beach because of the plane schedule, but oh it’s fine for me. 

We went to the Ngurah Rai International Airport. All I want to do on the plane was sleep, sleep, and sleep. But I got worried along the way because of the bad weather that made the plane keep shaking and all I could think was, “Will I die here? God, please don’t. I still wants to live. I’ll be a good girl so please, protect me.” Something like that. It wasn’t my first trip by plane, but it’s the first time I got into this kind of situation. And what made it worse was the ruckus surrounded me, it’s actually in a good way, but at that kind of situation it just makes me want to smacked them up to shut them—but I didn’t and won’t do it anyway, and focused on how to fall asleep, which I managed in the end.

But in the end, Thanks God! We, all of the 32015 and the teachers and staffs arrived safely and I managed to have a nice sleep while we’re up there~

So far, it’s a great trip! Lot of things happened and I simply won’t forget it whatever it was :’ And it’ll be great thing if there’s another trip and I hope there’ll be no accidents and that I won’t get into a bad condition so I can enjoy it to the fullest~!

Inkheart

Inkheart film is based on a trilogy novel written by a germans writer Cornelia Funke; There're, Tintenherz (Inkheart), Tintenblut (Inkspell), and Tintentod (Inkdeath).
Inkheart tells a story about silvertongues. Silvertongues, are they who, when they read a book out loud, it becomes real. The characters will go out of the book and as for the exchange someone from the real world will go into the book.

The Plot
After nine years of Resa disappearance (she went into 'Inkheart' book) Mo and Maggie took a trip to book market. There, Mo, finally founds a copy of Inkheart book in one of the stores. Meanwhile, Maggie who's reading a book outside the store met Dustfinger and his pet, Gwin. Maggie told him that she shouldn't talk to a stranger but Dustfinger said, he isn't, and that he had already met Maggie before.
Later, Mo came out of the store and saw Dustfinger is talking to his daughter, she then told Maggie to wait in the van while he talks something with Dustfinger. Dustfinger warned Mo about Capricorn's underlings who's looking for him and said that he could help Mo and Maggie hide from then if Mo reads him back to the book. Mo refused and says that he doesn't have the book. But Dustfinger said it's in Mo's bag. Mo then ran away.
Mo and Maggie then go to Italy to hide in Maggie's aunt, Elinor's house but in the end they're caught by Capricorn's underlings and all of Elinor's book collection got burned.
They're taken to Capricorn's village. Mo finally explained what really is going on, about his talent and also Maggie's mom disappearance.
Shortwhile, they're brought to Capricorn. Capricorn said that he needs Mo to become his reader because his current reader, Darius is stuttering while he's reading which caused the character is half-read and there're words written on their faces.
Capricorn then tells Mo to read '1001 Nights' book to bring out the treasures in it. Mo succeed and in addition he brought out a character from the book, Farid.
Meanwhile, Dustfinger was actually the one who told Capricorn Mo's hiding place in exchange that he'll be reads back to the book. But Capricon lied to him and burn the copy of Inkheart that belongs to Mo. He then go to the kitchen to have his wounds treated. And there's one of Capricorn's maid who can't talk and turns out to be Mo's long-lost wife, Resa. Dustfinger then promised to her that she'll be able to meet her family again and that he'll helps her.
In the end, Mo and the rest along with Dustfinger were manages to run away. But Dustfinger left Resa behind, in the Capricorn's village, he broke his promise.

And then, they go to a town where the writer of Inkheart, Fenoglio lives. They told him that they need another copy of Inkheart. And when Fenoglio saw Dustfinger he's really surprised and excited and blurted out that in the end Dustfinger will be dead by saving Gwin. Dustfinger got angry at him and said that he's not his God.
After finding another copy of the book, Mo and Dustfinger, and Farid trailing after them in the trunk, went back to Capricorn's village. While Maggie was staying in Fenoglio's house. And then, because of curiosity, Maggie reads 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' out loud, and bring Toto out of the book. It turns out that she has the same talent as her father. At the same time, Basta was barging in to the house and captured Maggie and Fenoglio.
Knowing Maggie's talent, Capricorn then decide d to use her to calls 'The Shadow' an evil creature from Inkheart, it turns out he kept one of the copy with him. While in the cell, Fenoglio tries to write another ending of Inkheart so that all the characters will go back into the book.
But Fenoglio only manages to write half of it. So, when the time came, Maggie reads what Fenoglio writes and then Mo tells her to write her owns ending. Maggie then writes the ending on her arms while reading it.
In the end The Shadow and the rest characters disappeared, along with Fenoglio who told Maggie that he wants to go there as well. And after that, Mo reads Dustfinger back to the book. And Farid said that he'll have different ending because Farid keeps Gwin with him. And because he got nowhere to go, he came  along with Maggie's family who's finally reunited with Resa who gains her voice back.

FIRE WHIRL

 Tornadoes are terrifying events, but add fire and they become spectacularly terrifying. Fire whirls occur when the heat from a fire drive the air above it in such a way as to form a vortex with the cooler air outside. If this vortex acquires a vertical spin then a fire whirl, a vortex sucking flames upwards, will form. Fire whirls can be incredibly dangerous as they may pick up burning debris and so spread the flames.

When Tokyo was struck by an earthquake in 1923 an enormous fire whirl was created by the massive numbers of burning wooden buildings. The whirl was a major factor in the burning to death of 38,000 people. Smaller whirls are commonly seen at the front of fires in grasslands.

 A fire tornado consists of a core—the part that is actually on fire—and an invisible pocket of rotating air that feeds fresh oxygen to the core. The core of a typical fire tornado is 1 to 3 feet (0.30 to 0.91 m) wide and 50 to 100 feet (15 to 30 m) tall. Under the right conditions, very large fire tornadoes—several tens of feet wide and more than a thousand feet (300 meters) tall—can form. The temperature inside the core of a fire tornado can reach up to 2,000 °F (1,090 °C)—hot enough to potentially reignite ashes sucked up from the ground. Often, fire tornadoes are created when a wildfire or firestorm creates its own wind, which can turn into a spinning vortex of flame.


Another example is the numerous large fire whirls (some tornadic) that developed after lightning struck an oil storage facility near San Luis Obispo, California on 7 April 1926, several of which produced significant structural damage well away from the fire, killing two. Thousands of whirlwinds were produced by the four-day-long[dubious – discuss] firestorm[citation needed] coincident with conditions that produced severe thunderstorms, in which the larger fire whirls carried debris 5 kilometers away.

    Type 1: Stable and centered over burning area.
